Thanks. everything is working fine. I went ahead and tested the lighttemp sketch shown in Ladyada.net. However, since I am using MEga, how can I incoporate the "softI2C" with the lighttemp sketch? Please help. Thanks

Not easily, I'm afraid.
There would be quite a bit of programming work required to do that. Perhaps a forum member would be willing to assist you.
