Hi All,
I have purchased the Adafruit MotorShield (twice now) and have got projects working which use 4 DC motors, however I now want to make it wireless. I have tested the Bluetooth module by connecting it to the TX and RX pins of the Arduino without the MotorShield attached, however I am cautious of testing them both together (and possibly leading to a costly mistake) without the below being clarified.
What my question is, does the MotorShield use the Arduino pins 0 and 1 (the RX and TX pins respectively)?
I have seen in the FAQ for the MotorShield that it does not list these as free pins, however upon inspecting the Shield itself, it doesn't look like the pins are connected to anything on the Shield.
Could someone please clarify if I will be able to use Arduino pins 0 and 1 for serial communication whilst also using the MotorShield?
Thanks in advance,
Grant

Re: Query about Motor Shield
These pins are not used by the shield in any way.
