RFID Shield with Raspberry Pi

Post by dannyw »

Hi guys,

I mistakenly ordered the RFID Shield instead of the breakout board, and after plenty of research it seems fairly difficult to hook up.

Can you lend any assistance?

Regards,
Danny

Actually, it shouldn't be all that difficult to hook up, but I believe you would need a level-shifter for the I2C lines, since I don't think the Shield has any jumper points where you can access 3.3V signals.

However, if you contact [email protected] with a link to this thread, we'll be happy to exchange the shield for the breakout board.

If you decide to stick with the shield, post back here and we'll talk about hooking it up
