2.8" Ada TFT Shield and JOS Operating system

Hello to the ada community!

At the moment i am trying to get the JOS Operating system runnung wit an mega 2560 and the adafruit 2.8" TFT Touch Shield.
The graphictest out of the lcdtft and the
touchscreendemo out of the touchlibrary is working so far.

I tried 2 get the Jos Operating system running:
http://thecustomgeek.com, but the following error while checking JOS_Touch_15 occured:

JOS_Touch_15.ino: In function 'void setup()':
JOS_Touch_15:138: error: 'class Adafruit_TFTLCD' has no member named 'readRegister'

Anybody got an idea what 2 do?

That JOS sketch was apparently written for an older version of the Adafruit_TFTLCD library. I suggest contacting the author and asking him to update his sketch.

I just ran into the same problem. I found an older version of the Adafruit TFTLCD library here and it compiled:

One problem I have now is that the touch is not responding. I'm using a Arduino Duemilanove with the Adafruit 2.8" LCD shield.

You're using the Adafruit touch library?
Is the problem that it's not working with JOS, or that it's not working at all? What happens with the standard Adafruit example code?
