I recently purchased a couple of these LCD kits ( http://www.adafruit.com/products/772 ) and when I compared the package contents with the tutorial ( http://learn.adafruit.com/rgb-lcd-shield ) I see that neither of my kits has the exact same parts as described in that tutorial. Both of my kits have only 5 push buttons, and 3 resistors. Mine also each came with a little rubber foot thingie that's sticky on one side.
Can someone point me to the instructions which match my kit?

If you contact support@adafruit.com they can send you the missing buttons & resistors. Not sure what the rubber feet are for. Possibly a spacer for the back of the display? I'll check into it.
[Edit - Update] The rubber part is a stray piece from the chip packaging. It is not part of the kit and you can discard it.
