Using GPS logger shield with other sensors?

Post by microcentury »

Hey guys,

Forgive me if this is a moronic question, I am just starting out and didn't see it addressed. Is it possible to use the micro SD card on the GPS logger shield to also store information from other sensors like a temperature sensor, or would you need a separate logging shield for that? In my project I would like to store temperature and location for each time interval, so any guidance much appreciated.

Yes, you can log data from other sensors as well.

OK cool thanks. Now I just need them to be back in stock :-) Would I use the same libraries as for the normal data logger?

You would use the same libraries for logging, plus whatever libraries might be needed for the other sensors you are using.
