Waveshield +arduino UNO+GPRS shield

Hi all...

I am in need of help. I have the waveshield from adafruit and it works great. I have it stacked on an arduino UNO.... I also have a GPRS shield from seedistudio and it works great too when stacked on the UNO. as you probably know that the waveshield has a 3.5mm speaker output and so does the GPRS shield. I want to send the "spoken" waveshield file to the GPRS shield via an audio cable, but I want to know if it is possible. If it is can anyone recommend one and is it as simple as plugging an MP3 player to to car speakers via an auxiliary cable? I did try that and nothing wheat through...I was making a phone call....

the waveshield has a 3.5mm speaker output and so does the GPRS shield

The Seeed wiki on the GPRS board is not responding this AM so I can't verify, but if they are both outputs, you can't connect one to the other.
