Memory considerations

Post by kabary »

Hello ,

I am doing a project that involves lots of data logging and so the arduino uno will not work for me because of the sram and the flash memory is also too small , i am considering other alternatives . i donot like the raspberry pi nor the beaglebone black .

I want something that is like the arduino uno , but with better memory yet compatible ( i have an intel gaileo but it doesn't accept softwareserial stuff and so i can't use the adafruit gps logger shield )

i know that the due is really good for memory but is the gps breakout board or the shield will work on it ?

In summary , i need someone to advice me what board , a board which will allow me to work with gps and barometric pressure sensors along with many other sensors, and supports sd data logging too

Have you considered the Mega? That has is compatible with almost all of our sensors and shields.

The GPS shield can work with the GPS shield with a few software modifications.
