I've been getting the click on wav files.
I converted my wav files to mp3. Now, I don't get a click on the mp3 versions of the same files, but I still get the click on wav files.

Weren't you getting clicks on mp3's?

Still no fix on the click before audio begins, but did figure out about the frequent hiss. It seems to only happen when playing audio using the interrupt (startPlayingfile) routine.

The hiss is some decoder interface thing we're not sure of but we'll try looking for the root cause.

We're going to look to revise the audio filter section of the player shield, in case that helps with the clicking. That may take a few months to get into production since new PCBs must be ordered, tested, etc. Since there's no ETA for a hardware revision (and we're not even sure it will help with the clicking) we can offer a full refund now, email [email protected] with a link to this thread!
