My EZ-link shows up in my devices but there is no com port information under the Hardware tab. I am running Windows 7 Pro with Service Pack 1.
It's just this computer that can't connect. It works with an Apple, and it works with my Galaxy Note 3.
Thanks.

Re: No Port Information for EZ Link
It sounds like the EZ-Link is working properly..
Try this to see if there are any hidden COM ports getting in the way on the Windows machine:

Re: No Port Information for EZ Link
Thank you. You guys are great! Now that I can see all the ports that are hiding on my computer, how do I know which ones to get rid of? There are 5 Standard serial over bluetooth link com ports. (14 USB Serial ports, 14 USB Prolific USB to serial Comm ports!) I don't want to do a wholesale delete in case I screw something up.

Re: No Port Information for EZ Link
Nuke the ones that only show up when you toggle the 'show hidden' option.
Get rid of anything that has duplicates-except-for-the-number, anything that contains "Arduino", and anything that includes "Adafruit". The system will create new ones the next time you plug in the appropriate device.
