Motor Shield V2 not working

Hi,

I've bought a motor shield v2 and its led doesn't turn on when stacked on the arduino.
Any pointers on why this might be happening? I am suspecting the shield is defective.

All the shields are tested in production. Do you have the VIN jumper installed?

Please post photos showing all your soldering on the board.
