8Bit Box with BlueFruit Shield

Post by kf4kco »

I have a spare BlueFruit EZ-Link Arduino shield and I'd like to use it to build the 8-bit box project. Since it also has a protoboard section, it should take up less room. Is there anything I should know about connecting the power circuitry, which is different between the ez-link shield and the ez-link board?

The shield doesn't output regulated 3.3V to the 3.3V pin. So it won't back-power the Uno the way the BoB does.
