Use CC3000 without DHCP?

Post by scott216 »

With the standard Arduino Ethernet library with an Ethernet shield, if I connect by specifying the Arduino's IP instead of using DHCP, the Arduino sketch uses a lot less memory. Does the library for the CC3000 shield have a similar ability to set a static IP instead of DHCP? I have a project that runs fine with an Ethernet shields, but if I use a CC3000 I run out of memory when I compile.
