Bluefruit EZ-Link IC Model

Post by otispug »

Hello,
The support page, the github page and the schematics make no mention at all of the actual IC on the PCB.
Where is this information listed?

Thanks!

It looks different.

Is yours just a variant that has a shield? If so, does it have a model number? Is this information listed anywhere?

Thanks

But it's clearly not as seen in the pictures. It's not listed anywhere in any schematics or documentation what it is. It isn't open source if it's a secret.
The CSR BC417 is what all the cheap ebay bluetooth modules are. This BlueFruit thing is supposed to be new, no?

Thank You

Not really.. we've told you what chip it is three times, and that doesn't seem to be doing it.

Buy one, remove the RF shield, and see for yourself.
