We all know how hard the SNES connectors are to find especially as SNES multitaps become more and more difficult to find (at the right price)
Have you considered selling them as a pair just by themselves?

Re: SNES connectors
Hi all, new to this forum, and I have been following the uze/fuzebox for a while. I was interested in getting the Fuzebox starter pack, but it now looks like a no go with an issue with snes connector availability and was wondering if that had been solved yet? If not, does this mean the end of fuzebox?adafruit wrote:no there are none left and we dont have any...
Thanks,

Re: SNES connectors
nonoo, we've just been terribly busy. we have a new version that needs to be tested that uses a generic connector but works with SNES
annoyingly we are just really terribly busy, but its there...on the desk...staring at me...like that geico $ in the commercials

Re: SNES connectors
I hope it is a good busy. Good to hear that this fantastic kit is alive and still kicking. I guess asking for a time frame for availability would be asking too much giving your time limitations, but I was going to place an order if it was not going to be too long on backorder. Just a ball park figure would do.adafruit wrote:nonoo, we've just been terribly busy. we have a new version that needs to be tested that uses a generic connector but works with SNES

your best bet is to put yourself on the email notification list in the product page

Re: SNES connectors
I just ran into someone who can supply SNES connectors at $1 a piece (plus shipping from HK), but with a MOQ of 2kpcs. I only need 500 myself, but if enough people are interested, maybe we could place a joint order? Anyone who is interested in purchasing, say, 100 or more, feel free to PM me.
The connectors are not quite exactly the same shape as the TribalTap ones, but looking good otherwise (see pictures).
Best,
Matthias

Re: SNES connectors
What happened to these connectors?
I'm interested in buying two, but I can't find them in the shop?
Do I have to buy a multitap?
