We have a contest and you don't need to design electronics to win. Design our "Ask an engineer chat" forum banner and WIN a $50 gift certificate from the Adafruit store. Here are some details and rules, good luck!
THE CONTEST
Each week we do a chat called "Ask an engineer" - http://adafruit.com/chat/ we talk about electronics, answer your questions, we put together and used a pick and place machine live for the first time on the internet. It's a good time. usually 200-300 people show up.
We've recently updated our forums and Adafruit.com home page so they both can support banners. We do not (and will not) ever have advertising so we'll use this space to promote our weekly chat, contests and customer projects posted on our blog and forums.
We could design a cool banner, but we figured there are some folks out there that might want to do this and win a $50 gift certificate to the Adafruit.com store.
HOW TO ENTER
Just design an "Ask an engineer" banner. It needs to be 550 x 75, animated gifs are okay provided they're not awful or huge. The banner should contain: "Ask an engineer" - and details about the time. Every Saturday 10pm ET. The URL is http://adafruit.com/chat/

When you're done post or embed your banner in our forum thread. That's it! In a week or so we'll pick our favorite and you'll win a $50 gift certificate to the Adafruit store. Just don't enter if you're a friend/family, that wouldn't be fair. We'll see if anyone enters this and do other contests like this if it works out.
