Male DC Power adapter
I am looking for a male dc power to terminal block adapter with a 2.1mm or smaller I.D. x 5.5 mm O.D. and the part that is inserted needs to be 10mm long. The typical adapter insertion pin is 12mm long. Also I'm thinking the next size smaller I.D. would make a better connection. Thanks for your help.

Re: Male DC Power adapter
We have a range of cables with 2.1mm barrel jacks on the end over in the Batteries & Power section: http://www.adafruit.com/category/44
The thing closest to what you want is probably the version that combines a jack with terminal blocks for easy connection: http://www.adafruit.com/products/369
We don't stock anything smaller than 2.1mm though. Your best bet ther will be Digikey or Mouser.

Or if you live in the USA, Radio Shack might have what you need in the filing cabinets in the back of the store. For just a few parts, it may even be cheaper than mail order, plus you get it immediately. Be sure to get both the male and female ends of the cable.
Another alternative is the JST PH connectors Adafruit uses for lipo batteries. Unfortunately they do not sell the through hole versions of the plug for soldering into a perfboard or connecting to a breadboard. You could buy the extension cable, and cut it in half, and attach one end to your board, and the other end to your power source: http://www.adafruit.com/products/1131.
Sparkfun does sell both the through hole vertical and horizontal versions of the connector in their store. Both Adafruit and Sparkfun do sell the cables that connect to it.
