USB Microsoft
I'm expecting delivery on my USB Microscope. Cleaning up my email I noticed your confirmation message. The description says it's MAC compatible but under the Technical data notes it says the software is NOT BANNED compatible. I'm confused. I don't want to spend another $20 for third party software. Can it run with the Mac built-in cam software or can you recommend any "no cost" software.

Re: USB Microsoft
The camera is a TWAIN device, so QuickTime Player can see it.
Select "New Movie Recording" under the File menu, then select the popup menu on the right hand side of the control bar to select the input source:
miXscope offers additional niceties like the ability to measure things on the screen, but you can use the 'scope with a standard Mac.

Thanks for the fast rely.
Mac Photo Booth recognizes the device. Photoshop doesn't. MicrCapture works too.

Re: USB Microsoft
Be careful with Photo Booth.. it flips the image horizontally so the display behaves like a mirror. If you try to view something with writing on it (like an IC), the text will be reversed.
