X-bee ins and outs, latency, etc.

Post by cloverstreet »

So how many of the arduino I/O pins can the X-bee sold on adafruit transmit? Or is that just in the programing. For example how would I go about transmitting all the pins from one arudino to another, say maybe 8 digital I/Os, 6 PWM I/Os, and 6 analog ins. With all this info going as fast as possible what kind of latency and resolution could I expect compared to a single unit doing same, but not transmitting.

Sorry if this is a naive question, I'm still pretty new at this, but getting very comfortable with the arduino.

i think theres 6 or 8 digital pins and 6 of them can also be used as analog ins. the analog ins can pass through into PWM, the XBee cant do analog out, only PWM out. check the datasheet for more info
