Hello,
Am I correct in understanding that the tweet-a-watt is sampling a single datapoint every 2 seconds and that it averages out to something reasonably accurate after 5 minutes of averaging? Does this approach prohibit more granular measurements of usage (say a load that changes every 15-30 seconds)?
Thanks.

You can rewrite the code to log at any rate you want.

Re: Tweet-a-watt accuracy?
Thanks. I need to take a closer look at the code and will work on it. I noticed with the existing wattcher-maingraph script that I get a very 'noisy' graph compared to a very smooth reading on the actual kill-a-watt device. Hopefully this isn't a result of poor soldering on my part.
Regards.

Re: Tweet-a-watt accuracy?
That might depend on your scale for the graph. And the kill-a-watt may be averaging in itself.
