I'm just doing a quick check before I spend a bunch of money on the wrong materials. ;)
I'm currently sending lots of rapid binary (on/off) signals to my Arduino via USB, but I want to make the communication wireless. So far I believe I need
- 1 USB -> FTDI cable (USB TTL-232)
- 2 XBee Adapter Kits
- 2 XBee Modules
- 1 Power supply
I know I could do it without the adapter kits, as well, but I'm looking for simple.
What's the procedure for wiring up Ladyada's XBee Adapter to the Arduino? Would I be better off with Sparkfun's XBee Shield?
Any guidance would be great! Cheers!
