Setting up a Xbee Network

Post by paul2 »

I have a question about creating a network with xbees. Attached is a
simple block diagram of how we want our network to be. We are using 3 xbee s1 or the XB24. First I should give you an explanation of how the xbees are set up right now.

If you look at the diagram, the xbee for "computer communication" is set to broadcast to "xbee elevation" and "xbee azimuth" and both of them talk back to the xbee on computer communication. we want to be able to retain this network of communication but additionally have "xbee elevation" and "xbee azimuth" talk to each other, so the azimuth control can get information from the sensor attached to the elevation sensor.

How would we accomplish this? I'm using X-CTU to set the modem parameters so if you could instruct me on what parameters to set and what they need to be that would be very helpful

Why not have elevation talk to azimuth via computer communication?
