Hello,
I just bought an XBee series 1. It's connected using the XBee adapter and FTDI cable. I can configure it using ZTerm, but when it powers off it goes back to the default settings (ID=3332, baud rate=9600). This is the 3rd XBee I've used, so I have some practice configuring and using them, but this one doesn't act like the others. Any suggestions?

That's unusual. You might ask on the Digi forum. Their tech support is pretty good. If they don't have a solution we'll replace the module.

Problem was solved by a post on Sparkfun blog - I wasn't issuing ATWR to write configuration after changing it! The new question is why did it work on my other 2 modules because I don't think I used ATWR on those either!
