Yes I have read that. That's why I chose PR = 2 for DIO2 on the transmitter side with the joystick. Still didn't work.

It's weird because it says, "Set IU - I/O Output enable to Disabled" on the receiver side. When I do that nothing works at all so I enable it again. Then the joysticks work at least.

Unfortunately, I'm getting in over my head here. I haven't done anything with pin-passing.
You'll probably get better answers in the Digi forum...

You've helped me get another step closer and I THANK YOU ! I'll keep trying.
I was looking at Bluetooth and RF wireless solution, but I want to use a joystick and not just push buttons to go a small distance and have to press the button again to go again. I already rebuilt a toy robot to do that.

Take care !

Definitely ! Will do. This is a real pain in the ashcan. I would love to contribute info that would help and not just lead in circles.
Checking this out to at least program joysticks since I have accurate data being sent.

Funny, even digi message boards won't answer specific questions about IO line passing. Just say check the documentation of the unit you're using. Like that helps. Can't find any sketch that will parse and act upon the Xbee packet I'm sucessfully receiving. The XBEE libray examples don't even read and spit out accurate packet information. I'm sicking of looking at "Hello Moon !" and nothing else. I can see the packet info with X-CtU so I know it's there. Think I'll just have to go rf until better technology comes along.
