XBee Adapter kit - v1.1 ID: 126

Post by currymuetze »

Hi,
I recently bought two of these pieces - they work really great, expecially for my project with Touch OSC and Processing.
However, I am building a minimalistic PCB now and want to include the schematics right on my eagle file.

Question re the 3.3v Regulator:
I can only get my hands on an MCP 1702-3002 instead of an MCP1700-3302E/TO (which is the one you put on you ladyada part list of this piece). I am not much into electronic stuff, so I was wondering whether I could use this as well and/or if I need to change sth in the schematic? (Like can I keep the 0.1 and 47 uF capacitors?)

Would be great if you could help me out cause I am about to order all my electronic parts soon.

Best
Thorsten

The MCP 1702-3302 is 3.3v. The 3002 version is only 3v. The 3302's are not difficult to find:
