Hello all,
I live in New Zealand and we don't have the kill a watt power meter, however we have a widely used power meter called EMA-1
more details of this is on https://sites.google.com/site/ema1power ... breakdown2
this has a Cirrus Logic CS5460C-ISZ single chip http://pinout-circuits-images.dz863.com/316/CS5460.jpg
was wondering if anyone could tell me which pins i should use?
Thanks for the help

Re: Tweet a Watt with EMA-1
Since this chip already does the power calculations and outputs them in the Serial Data Ouput (SDO) pin,
was thinking of only using this pin and re-writing the software.
would this work?
please any help would be appreciated

Re: Tweet a Watt with EMA-1
Looks like the chip has both serial outputs and pulse-rate outputs. Both protocols are described in the datasheet:
