XBEE Adapter Kit 3.87v

Post by ReidCarlberg »

Hi, just testing my adapter and it's a little funky. Not communicating with other XBees, red light on just a little, green light not at all. Voltage between G and 3v is measuring 3.87 (no XBEE installed). Any advice? Thanks!

The photo is not quite clear, but the solder on the XBee headers looks a little suspicious. If you could take one at a bit of an angle and in better focus, I could see the profile of the joint better.

The 3v. pin should measure 3.3v. Check to make sure that your meter has fresh batteries. Some meters read high when the batteries start to fade.
