Tweet-a-Watt Framing Error

Post by eddiie »

HI,

I've used my tweet a watt for a couple years now. Recently, the Energy Logger stopped logging data. I've moved the receiver xbee to another machine and Energy Logger does not see any data there, either.
I know the com port is correct. By connecting to the com port I see garbage coming in every couple seconds. So I think it is receiving data ok. The red led lights, the green led blinks.

What could be wrong?

Energy logger says at the bottom of window, click for details, and it says framing error. Eventually energy logger will crash.

I've tried all different baud rates from 300 to 115200. No luck.

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like your transmitter XBee has gone bad.
