Hi,
I've just got one of these great kits but am being stymied by the following step:
"We also need to place the high voltage transistor that does the switching in the switching regulator."
from: http://www.ladyada.net/make/icetube/solder.html
Now normally I would think I am just missing that part, but when I look at the parts list at http://www.ladyada.net/make/icetube/parts.html, I don't see the part listed in the bill of materials.
Am I crazy? Or missing something?
Thanks
Antonio

It is listed on the parts page. It's the sixth item down (Q2). I believe mine came stuck in the foam with the other IC.

Yikes! Silly me. Thanks, I read "Channel HEXFET" and thought this was some sort of small LCD driver chip.
The other thing that threw me was that the picture of it made it look grey.
Thx!
