All went quite well, was a little worried that the VFD wiring would be difficult but it wasn't as hard as I'd feared.
One schoolboy error. Missed out the pnp transistor but realised that mistake when I performed the VFD test. Also had an issue with the menu button. All worked initially and then stopped registering. Took apart and added some more solder to all the buttons and works perfectly now.
Bought a UK adapter for the US 2-pin PSU but it keeps falling out so will need to source a UK spec version at some point but it'll suffice for now.
Next is a Monochron, had my name on the backorder list for some time now so fingers crossed I'll get one when the next batch comes in
