Hello, I have a problem with my clock. At least 2 of the number displays will not work, for example when it is supposed to say "set time" it displays "s t ime" and for "set date" is displays "s t ate". Is this a broken tube or is something else wrong? I have checked all my solders to the tube and to the motherboard and everything seems fine. I can scroll through the menu and change settings, I just can't see fully what I am changing. Please see the attached photos of the board and display to help trouble shoot.
Let me know what you think. Thanks
Anthony

Re: Problem with Clock Display
It looks like there might be some bridging on the four pins all the way on the right in the square grid of your tube plug-in adapter board. The first image you posted, not the circle of pins, but the 2x10 grid of pins that the header attaches to the board with? It kinda looks like the four pins on the far right, (two right pins on the top, two rightmost pins on the bottom, that is.)
Actually, why am I bothering to explain it? I have your image, and I have GIMP.
THESE pins look like they might be bridged:

your solder looks a little 'cold' - make sure your iron is heating up well and to ~700 deg F!
