I purchased a Monochron Clock Kit to build and give to my father as a birthday gift. Upon completion, I discovered a 10K resistor that is not shown in the Bill of Materials and an empty spot in the silkscreen that is labeled R10 (near C5). Does this resistor belong there and if so, what function does it serve?
I don't have the knowledge or equipment necessary to update the firmware myself and Dad's birthday is just around the corner. Does a microcontroller that is preprogrammed with different firmware exist? I would like to have XDaliChron and TSChron as well as the current MONOCHRON. Would the MultiChron firmware provide these options? If available, what would be the cost and how would I go about ordering?
Preprogrammed Microcontrollers?

Re: Preprogrammed Microcontrollers?
Can you post a photo of that? I don't see an R10 in the schematics.an empty spot in the silkscreen that is labeled R10 (near C5).
We do not sell chips with alternative firmware. But if you ask on the forums someone might burn one for you.

Re: Preprogrammed Microcontrollers?
Thank you for the reply. I already have the clock assembled and working. If, for some reason, I disassemble I will take a photo and post. Thanks again.
