One Digit very dim

Just finished building my clock (very fun by the way). And its working great, EXCEPT there is one digit on the display that is VERY dim.
Any ideas? Bad solder joints? Need to clean off the flux?

I assume you are referring to the last digit. This is typical with the Ice Tube and mentioned in the FAQ. There are several threads on the subject as well. Some users have come up with a firmware modification that brightens it up.

It's actually not the last digit, but rather one of the digits in the middle. It's circled in the picture above.

In that case, it is most likely a marginal solder joint on the tube-board or the header on the main board. If you post photos of the solder-side of both boards we'll take a look.
