RTC Clock

Post by spumoni »

Hi, I purchased & assembled the DS1307 break out board. I have the battery installed with it reading at 3.2v. I have loaded the RTClib in an Arduino 1.01 environment. The sample application compiles and runs but the serial monitor output print RTC NOT Running.

I am using the Arduino Uno with connections grd, +5v and A5 to SCL and A4 to SCA to breakout board. The breakout board is mounted on a breadboard with jumpered connections as stated. I tested voltage at the breakout board and it is 5v. I have also resoldered all connections on the breakout board as well as tried different positions on the breadboard. The DS1307 chip is soldered in the right orientation - notch toward the center of the board. Help!

Post some photos showing your soldering and connections.
