Like in this /viewtopic.php?f=41&t=43908? With a 22R?

PN2907A is easier...

Thanks again.

Yes, that's the post, but a 22 ohm resistor would be way to small. In a related post, Russell compared various Q3 alternatives. I would use a PN2907A with a 1k at the base, but any resistor between 270 and 10k will work well. Don't go below 270 ohms or the circuit could pull too much current from the microcontroller.

And you suggest a jumper in R3?

Thanks!

R3 should be fine with the 22 ohm resistor in place. Jumpering R3 would not cause any harm, but I would leave it alone.

@adafruit_support_bill and @adafruit...

As yet I have not had any response, I feel disappointed with the Adafruit ... A company that I have always admired the ease and accessibility to knowledge of electronics through quality products.

I believe they can be considering I'm not a client or even have not purchased the product directly from the store. Try to check the order # 500214-8304958728, PID 194

So, as I find I can not rely on your company, already bought the piece directly from eBay and within a few months, I get the component.

Do not worry, it's not my nature to want to give any kind of damage to you, it was my mistake, so be it. But the professionalism of the company, I was very surprised.

Thank you.

Hi @jarchie,

Finally I received the ZVP2110A and the clock is working! Thanks for your help.

Is there a way to increase the bright? of course, inside the secure limit of the vfd specs. :)

Lady Ada's lucky to have you as a consumer.

Thanks a lot.

Excellent! Well done.

Brightness can be controlled through the menus, as described in the Adafruit Ice Tube Clock webpage.

Rafa_BR - Sorry we missed your post. When posting a new issue, it is always best to start a new thread. Our first priority is to address unanswered posts. Adding on to a thread with an already resolved issue, your post is less likely to get prompt attention.
