Extech EX330 - soldering iron calibration

Post by a-9555 »

Hi, in the product description of the Extech EX330 you write:

... and on top of that, its been our daily-use multimeter for over 3 years. It's compact, has auto-off, tons of features and a temperature probe for checking thermal properties, soldering iron calibration and perhaps even a DIY reflow control.

Pls let me know which probe you are using with the ex 330. The delivered probe is good for temperatures up to 482 Fahrenheit only.

best regards

Arthur

Any K-type thermocouple will work. These are good to 900F: https://www.adafruit.com/products/270

The supplied probe has screw terminals for attaching the thermocouple.
