Multi-meter ET-1700 low sound continuity test.

Post by artelse »

Just got a portable multi-meter ET-1700 in and am wondering about the extremely low volume continuity test sound. Does anyone else have this experience? I can barely hear the beep.

Let me check into that. I know the EX330 has a good healthy beep. Not sure about the pocket version.

Its a small multimeter with a small battery so its not as loud, we like to hold it like a 'telephone receiver', between ear and shoulder so both hands are free to probe and we can really hear it.

Ok, beep sound level sucks and is a feature not a bug... a pity as the rest of the meter is quite fine for on the road. But, I can live with that.
