I received the package (invoice 409149) last Friday and have been going trough the goodies. When testing the Rigol scope 1052E I noticed that the long memory seems not be working 100% ..
I have included some screen captures and waveform files that show the issue. These are taken when both channels are connected to Probe calibrator signal. Pics 0-3 are taken with 2 channels active, and last two with just channel 1 on.
Apparently what I can see, about every 1/4 th of the samples has some corruption issues depending on incoming voltage level. If there are 2 channels active, the problem is always on channel 2.
As far as I can guess without opening the scope there is lose solder joint on 1 data line (at the external ram or the FPGA?)... I'm quite sure the problem is not at the AD converters (or analog front end) since I have seen no problems with normal memory modes.
