Brittle plastic on solder sucker

Post by bestsnowman »

I received an order yesterday that included the $5 solder sucker, as I was looking it over I had a couple pieces of plastic come off the tip end (picture: http://1drv.ms/1ifrXk0). It still seems to be working fine and appears to just be a cosmetic thing, I just thought it'd be a good idea for adafruit to know there might be a quality issue.

It's actually the first solder sucker I've ever used, came in pretty handy and I've already added the silicon tip version to my wishlist for the next order :)

Wow. That is the first report of any problem with these.
