Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to post this. I'm looking to see if I can control an LED strip connected to my mac and controlled by an HTML switch. I would really appreciate any kind of help.
Thanks,
Joe

Should be possible. Depending on the type of strip, I suspect the easiest way would be to handle the low-level strip control with an Arduino connected via USB/Serial to the Mac. What kind of strip are you looking to control, analog http://www.adafruit.com/products/346
or digital? http://www.adafruit.com/products/306

We have a wide variety of digital strips, pixel strands and arrays. All are supported by Arduino libraries. A good place to start would be to get the strips connected to the Arduino and responding to serial commands. Then start on the web code for your Mac to send those control strings out in response to HTTP requests.
