I'm using two servos to create a platform for the Pi Camera, controlling up/down, side/side movement. The camera will be mounted to this unit, however, the ribbon cable that comes with the camera seems to be just barely long enough to support this. My question is how much movement is that cable actually supposed to tolerate? It looks like it will work for long if there is significant motion. I plan to go back and forth between still and motion video, running a web server with delayed video feed over wireless. Yes, its low res, and it's slow, but it's cool!
Anyway, are longer cable's available? or more movement tolerant cables?
The project is (of course) a mobile robotics platform camera, which is likely to encourage a lot of camera manipulation.

Re: Pi Camera cable - abuse
That's more of a question for the actual Pi forums. Swapping cables is not the sort of thing we would support here.
