Connecting Multiple (scalable) Speakers/Mics

Post by dentedhelmet »

Hi There - I'm admittedly a complete newb, so my apologies if this is a no brainer or should be done some other way. But I'm looking to create/connect multiple mic/speaker units using bluetooth. There would be one "parent" unit and multiple "kid" units that I would like to be able to connect via bluetooth and be able to add additional units. Would these also be able to auto-pair when powered on? Any insights on how to go about this, the necessary components, etc. would be greatly appreciated! Again - newbie here  THANKS!

We have bluetooth modules for HID devices and serial data transmission. We do not have any bluetooth audio modules.

Hi Bill - I really appreciate the suggestion to check out Bluetooth Audio Modules. Do you happen to know if these could be auto-paired based on proximity? Or is that just not realistic? Thanks!

Most bluetooth devices need to be manually paired the first time. After that they automatically reconnect when within range.
