That won't work. The Leonardo does not have SPI on pins 13, 12, 11. You have to connect to the ICSP header. The tutorial wiring page has the details:

Hi Guys,

I've been reading this and other threads re the nRF8001 never getting to the point of advertising.

I was wondering if it's completely necessary to to have to solder the pins to the board - I'm just getting a feel for how my project components will interact at this point, and did'nt want to go to the both of soldering them.

Should I still get to the point of advertising if I haven't soldered?

The module won't work without soldering the pins.

So I went ahead and soldered - still, not getting to the advertising stage :/

My soldering/setup are pictured and attached, I'm getting voltage at 3vo (using and LED to test, no voltmeter handy), and the led is not lighting when using RDY.
