Hi
I bought GPS starter kit, and tried blink on board LED demo, and it worked as it says, after that I have tried GPS demo as well, it worked just fine. Then I moved forward to connect Flora to FONA GSM board, which I started another topic talked about this project, my Mac cannot find Flora board through USB-serial port connection any more. which mean in Tools->Serial Port, there is no usb connection any more.
I have tried restart computer, unplug plug USB cable back in, and press on board reset button, none of which seemed to bring back serial port connection.
Please advise if there is anything else I could do to bring Flora back to life.

Try a different USB cable. Cables are frequently the source of these sorts of problems. If that doesn't help, try a different USB port, and try connecting through a hub.
Do any of the Flora's LEDs light up when you plug it in?

Hi
I have tried different USB ports. I have not tried swap USB cable yet.
and yes, the green light is on, and when I press reset, the red light is on as well.

Hi
I think I figured it out.
it sees serial port for a brief moment right after hit reset, so I flashed it with blink demo code very quickly after I hit reset button. and after it flashed, it runs normal now.

Cool. That sort of thing happens now and then with ATmega32U4 devices like the Flora and Leonardo.
