Question Re: 12mm Diffused Flat Digital RGB LED Pixels (Strand of 25) - WS2801

Hiya,

I created an arduino project involving an accelerometer and the RGB LED Strip - 32 LED/m Addressable - 1m from sparkfun (sorry...https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11272). I need to recreate the project and would much rather use adafruit's 12mm Diffused Flat Digital RGB LED Pixels (Strand of 25) - WS2801. Does anyone know if this new adafruit strip will be able to run the same program without significant changes (I can change the strip length)? I needed a lot of help to get the first one going and would like this one to be straightfoward. Does anyone know?

Should be relatively simply. Other than the strand length, I *think* the SparkFun strips used B/G/R color order rather than R/G/B, so you might just need to shuffle some numbers around.
