Hello, I just bought the adafruit 16x24 LED Matrix and in the tutorial it says that the J5 solder jumper must be 'filled' with solder (I am only using 1 matrix). I am mostly interested in the programming aspect and know nothing about electronics. I don't own a soldering iron and the is the only soldering I would need to do for my project. I was wondering if their were any alternatives so I would not need to buy a soldering iron just for that ? Could I just hot glue a small piece of wire to make the connection ? If the connection fails could it break anything (like the micro controller or the LED Matrix ?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english !

you can try to tape a piece of wire or tinfoil - not sure if it would be flakey though!
