7 Segment backpack and MSP430

Before I attempt do it myself I was just wondering if anybody had gotten the 7 segment display backpack (and/or the HT16K33 chip that it comes with) to work on the MSP430 and would share their code on here. Looking at the datasheet it looks relatively straightforward, but I figured I'd ask before reinventing the wheel.
