Hi I'm wondering what the best way to power several 60 led neo pixel strips for a wearable project would be. It needs to be small enough to work in a costume.
thanks!

There are many ways to power them but by far the easiest is to get one of these as it can last you up to 3hrs: http://www.adafruit.com/products/962iainduncan wrote:Hi I'm wondering what the best way to power several 60 led neo pixel strips for a wearable project would be. Other then that if you want to power it from a higher then 5v battery voltage then you will need to make a power converter such as this one: http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=42812

Thanks! Do you know if there is anything cheaper if we don't need it to last a long time?

How many strips, and how intense is the material to be displayed on them (e.g. is it a mostly dark pattern, like a Larson scanner, or does the whole thing need to be lit bright white all at once?)
