Eink 2.7 Inch Cable Length and Mounting

How long is the cable for the Eink Display? How does the screen stay affixed to the PCB or how should it stay affixed there? I'm working on a project that uses the screen and I can't find these answers. Thanks!

I don't have one in front of me for a precise measurement at the moment, but the cable is about 6-7" long. The screen is attached only by the cable connector. We suggest further affixing it to the board with some adhesive tape to prevent damage to the connector or flex cable.

The flex cable from the screen is 6-7" long? I think it looks shorter than that. Were you talking about the interface cable?

I have one here now. The cable is exactly 7" long. The flex connector on the edge of the display measures 1/4" from the edge of the display to the connector.

Hello,

I recently purchased the rePaper - 2.7" Graphic eInk Development Board and was wondering if you offer an extension to the small flex cable that would increase the cable length to roughly 5". I would like to mount the screen off of the development board and onto another base.

No. We do not have an extension for the flex-connector.
