Hi guys,
I am trying to make a Light Scythe (v2) with the newer type of LED strip available here (They don't sell the WS2801 anymore where I'm from).
I know its not recommended to control WS2811, the 3 terminal type digital LED strip, with Raspberry Pi, but that's all I've got here so I'd like to try. Unfortunately, all I can find is documentation on RPi + WS2801. I was wondering how I can properly translate WS2801 code to work with WS2811?
Thanks

The WS2811 control interface has very strict timing requirements. You would probably need a kernel-mode driver to make it work. We have no plans to write one at this time. Sorry.
